SYNOPSIS —Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide PRODUCTION TIMELINE • The World Premiere to a sold out Audience of over 700 people was on February 7th, 2008 at the Riverview Theater in Minneapolis. • The film Premiered at it’s first film festival, The Nevermore Horror Film Festival in Durham, NC on February 23rd, 2008 • The film won it’s first, and most prestigious award, The Gold REMI award at WorldFest Houston on April 17th, 2008. Two other awards followed; “Best Horror Film” at the Indie Spirit Film Festival, and “Best Traditional Horror Film” at Crypticon Seattle. • The World DVD release was on October 28th, 2008 trough Maverick Entertainment, and is still available at Blockbuster Video, Netflix and Redbox locations. • January 2009, the movie is listed as number three in Metro Magazine’s “The five most important moments in Minnesota film in 2008”: 13 Hours in a Warehouse Pays Off: • March, 2009, Lion’s Gate Home Video releases the DVD in the UK. • July, 2010, the DVD is released in Hong Kong, Tawian, and SE Asia. • Today, 13 Hours in a Warehouse has become one of if not the most successful Minnesota produced horror films in the state’s cinematic history.
